Publication Era: Early 1940s
Notes:
Barabino & Graeve of Genoa, Italy was one of the finest Italian printers of the 1920's and 40's. Founded by Adolfo Barabino, the company produced travel posters for ENIT, the famous Italian tourism agency. Artists such as F. Romoli, Riccobaldi, Sassi, Giuseppe Patron, ZANENGA, Arrigo Pezzini and others illustrated some of the finest examples of travel art for over a quarter of a century. The company later changed it's name to S.A.I.G.A. sometime during World War II.
These were the only Disney postcards published by this company. They were marketed as a set of twelve and came in a decorative envelope, the front of which is depicted below. Slightly larger than contemporary postcards (15 x 10.5cm).
